There is a robot mixing in my bedroom
10 06 2007Not actually, but I’ve been wanting to use this image forever! Although this tasty treat is electro-ey and the vocals distorted enough, and has a unrelenting beat that makes me think of all the robotic arms in a car factory swiveling to their own groove.
This is also a special treat because my friend in music Jake is over in Melbourne seeing Riot in Belgium tonight! I’m incredibly jealous, especially since he also got to shake Tiga’s hand on Friday! Enough of my pining though, here is the music:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Ajax, Headman and then Surkin broke me so badly on Sunday night that I couldn’t handle staying in the club long enough to see Riot In Belgium
If you haven’t heard it already, get Riot In Belgium’s remix of Yelle’s A Cause des Garcons – Headman dropped it and the crowd went absolutely mental – more than they did to the Van She Tech remix of Tiga’s You Gonna Want Me (and I think we both know how awesome that song would sound on the club floor)
Yep, just got the track – will be pulling it out at my next set
Hopefully they’ll be other times for seeing Riot in Belgium!
